Europlanet RI 2020 / 2015 - 2019
Europlanet Outreach and Engagment

Science Office is part of the Europlanet 2020 Research Infrastructure, funded under the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme under grant agreement No 654208 which will run for four years until August 2019. The project is led by the Open University, UK, and has 34 beneficiary institutions from 19 European countries. The A €9.95 million project will integrate and support planetary science activities across Europe and will address key scientific and technological challenges facing modern planetary science by providing open access to state-of-the-art research data, models and facilities across the European Research Area.

The Science Office is responsible for all dissemination and engagement activities of the project. For this, it will coordinate a group of actions  such as management of the European Planetary Media Centre, management of web presence and Social Networks, production of educational videos, advice to policy-makers and training in science communication for researchers.
